River
River is a striking example of the Maine Coon’s wilder, more primitive beauty. She possesses a leaner, more athletic build than her siblings, with a tapered silhouette that suggests she will be a swift and agile adult. Her most captivating feature is her deep-set, intelligent eyes that seem to change with the light, framed by exceptionally tall, dark lynx tufts that give her the look of a miniature bobcat. While her coat is still in its silky kitten phase, she is already developing a dense, weather-resistant "shag" and a tail so long and feathered it looks like a silver plume trailing behind her. River is a quiet explorer who prefers the highest shelf in the room, watching the world with a calm, regal dignity. She is a master of the soft, bird-like trill and will often "greet" you with a gentle head-butt before settling into a deep, vibrating purr at your side.
